Adam Peters asked:

Egyptian interior design is just one of many different types of design that can be used when it comes to the design of your home. If you are looking to give your home a look of elegance and feeling of ancient civilizations then this very well could be an option that you will want to consider. You can enlist the help of a professional if you so desire or you can choose to go the route of doing this yourself. In either case you will be allowing yourself the privilege of bringing in the old world into your current home.

There are many different reasons as to why you would want to incorporate this design into your home. In many cases it is simply because you want to express yourself and want to bring this world to life in your own home. Besides being such an intriguing time it was a time of riches and beauty that went unrivaled which could be why you want to use Egyptian interior design.

This design is not something that is limited to a home, it is a design that can be used in a business as well. If you want your business to have a feeling of elegance and beauty that will set it apart from everyone else in the world then you may very well want to consider going with the theme of Egyptian interior design. This is not an easy undertaking and is probably something that you will want to acquire professional help for in order to make it happen in your business, however if you want to undertake it on your own then you may want to look at the vast resources that are available to you.

Why Egyptian Interior Design

The primary reason that people would want to use Egyptian interior design is because they want to set themselves apart. They are looking for a distinct look that will allow them to be the talk of the area. One can also be using this theme if they are looking to express their heritage. Look at all of the different options that you have available to you as far as this design style is concerned. In many cases a history buff would go with this theme possibly for one room and use a different civilization for each room that they are looking to decorate. Use it as you like and get the most out of your room or home.

Francisco

Mr.Andrew Caxton asked:

Difficulties in decorating kids’ room. Great ideas that will make parents and kids happy. Make it a together project.

One of the most important decorating questions you might have run into is the interior design style for a rooms kids. There is no challenge on how hard you saw people trying new decorations in rooms for kids. They always seem to have the doors and windows closed when friends comes over. Decorating rooms for children or teens is usually fun, but when it comes to decorating kids’ rooms, all the joy flies out of the window. So many people have tried to decorate their children’s rooms in fun and imaginative ways, only to find their ideas fall apart because children have such strong ideas about how they want their own rooms decorated. Their ideas and the parents’ ideas may not necessarily be compatible.

You can find ways to keep everybody happy, and still not spend a fortune on decorating. A good idea is to have a few ideas that you like, and that coordinate the child’s room with the rest of the house, and then let the child pick out of those options. In this way, the child still feels he has a say in how his room is decorated, and you will have a room that you like and that goes with the rest of the house. One of the most important considerations in decorating a kid’s room is that it must be a room that is as simple as possible and easy to keep clean. This means that accessories should be kept to a minimum so that there is less to dust and vacuum. You should also try to keep the furniture at a minimum, since there will be less space for clutter to gather.

Many parents like to decorate their kids’ rooms with a cute theme. This is probably not a good idea unless money is no object, since kids grow quickly and tastes change. If you don’t mind spending a lot on a new theme every few years, that’s O.K., but most people can’t or don’t want to spend that kind of money. Better to have a neutral room so where you don’t have to throw the old stuff away constantly. Just look around at garage sales some day. You will see entire rooms of so-called “themes” going for ten cents on the dollar.

But garage sales are a great way to decorate your kid’s room. Many well constructed items of furniture or accessories are available as kids grow, and you can take them and remake them into your own with a little paint and adding some other items. Let your child help pick the accessories and also help with the painting; when a child is involved in this process, he will have more of a sense of ownership and will keep the room cleaner. If you don’t want to paint a room, consider the use of wall hangings. You can really personalize a room by framing and hanging works of art that your child has done. Old refrigerator art work can be spruced up and matted for beautiful displays. Place them in groups by age done or subject and they make lovely groupings. Even if a child objects to this, they are secretly pleased that their efforts are appreciated. This is another way of involving your kids, spending quality time with them and also makes the decorating project fun and interesting for both of you.

Stephen

Making your small bedroom look big can seem like a challenge, but you’d be amazed at the decorating tricks that can be employed to do just that. Below are some tips you can use for decorating small bedrooms.

Pick out a design approach which you will love, but also a design which can help to make your room appear larger. You may also want to make sure to design in a lot of storage space so you can quickly put things away as clutter will make even a bigger bedroom look small.

Think about keeping your furniture and accessories in the small size range. One method to make good use of space is to use underbed storage, in lieu of bureas which will make the room look bigger but still allow storage of clothing. All small scaled items might be monotonous and you will want to break that up by using a few bigger pieces, so even though you may choose to go for the underbed storage, include a big cheval mirror, which not only gives a bit of drama and interest, but also gives off the feeling that the room is larger than it really is.

Another trick for decorating small bedrooms is to give some thought to where the accessories and furniture are going to be placed in the room. Even though a lot of people reject the principles of Feng Shui, the principle behind it could still be applied when setting up the furniture and accessories in your attic room. Furniture ought to be positioned away from the doors to allow easier access to the rooms as well as make it look more spacious. If you can, direct the eye from the open doorway to a bigger piece like a and this can help divert the eye and give the illusion of a larger room.

Designing a room with a distinct theme in mind may also help to make good use of the space. A sleek modern decor can be best as this de-emphasizes clutter and is likely to emphasize space. Because this should be a cozy, comfortable space picking a design style you like and can live with is a good idea.

Pick out the color palette for the attic room with care since just the right colors will help make it appear more spacious. You don’t have to just use white or off white paint when making up for a small size in a room. You can throw away that boring white and make use of a monochromatic color scheme, or try colors that have identical intensity and still not make the room look small sized. So you should plan to go for all blue gray, or bright colors in red and orange. You can additionally add unique interest and depth to a room by painting an opposing wall a deep, intense hue. A blue gray paint color is really nice for decorative appeal and for also making the walls appear to recede, hence making the room seem bigger. If you want something a lot of colorful, cool colors like purple, green and blue will have the same illusion.

When decorating small bedrooms, it’s a good idea to keep in mind that sometimes less is more. Having an uncluttered space that has a lot of style will make any room appealing no matter how small it is.
